Orange is moving to a provider of digital services and capabilities. We seek partners to co-innovate and integrate our platform
Context / Need: Orange is on the way to deploy one platform to deliver a wide range of services relying on an on-demand, secure and quality-driven infrastructure for B2B, B2B2C, Wholesale business, developers and partners at scale.
Expected Solutions: Orange offers B2B customers a software defined secured connectivity that can be enriched with network services. Solutions to distribute compute at edge to improve performance and energy efficiency. On Smart Industry: predictive maintenance, overall equipment effectiveness follow-up, worker safety, augmented worker, drones for data collection to enhance processes. Solutions to feed production models with AI, to aggregate local data to monitor KPIs, to enable near miss detection and prediction of at-risk contexts.
Orange develops its network API ecosystem to create value on B2B. Embedding APIs to invent new services or proposing new API services.

Delivered as a SaaS solution and hosted in Europe, it ensures flexibility and adaptability while maintaining secure data control. Orange Business seeks innovative startups developing GenAI-powered SaaS applications to help build a dedicated marketplace. Startups are encouraged to utilize the Live Intelligence platform to showcase solutions addressing the needs of SMBs and larger enterprises.

Participants are invited to propose innovative SaaS applications that utilize one or more LLMs to address specific business challenges. Introduction: Orange in association with other telcos opens two new ecosystems for partners to transform the daily life of our customers at home and on the move. These initiatives leverage our local assets, including home services seamlessly integrated into the Livebox, repeaters, and other in-home devices, as well as mini-app services on the go, seamlessly embedded into audio and video calls on mobile devices:
· prplOS is an open-source, enterprise-grade software framework designed to power the next generation of WiFi routers and gateways, that enables our partners to distribute their value added services for home use cases;
· New Calling is promoted by GSMA and promises a new era in mobile communications by opening up opportunities to create new services, applications and experiences on top of the voice channel. With the New Calling technology it is possible to send data to the calling device and to enhance the calling display with rich visual information (like include visual ads in the calling display, run customer surveys, send brand campaigns with video content, generate live voice to text transcription and translation…)
Official launches are scheduled next year, Orange is recruiting with this challenge iconic use cases and partners to be promoted to our ecosystems and customers.

By providing a common multi-platform stack, prpl enables service providers to leverage the combined development efforts of vendors and their OEMs into a stable, well-tested and regularly updated software platform. Combined efforts of Telcos and providers associated in in the prpl foundation https://www.prplfoundation.org toward a common platform avoids redundant integration and verification efforts by each and paves the way for service editors to deploy carrier-grade solutions with a global reach. Orange New Calling platform will add interactive calling capabilities through mini-apps, small applications that are based on Web technologies and APIs (GSMA TS.66) (https://www.gsma.com/get-involved/gsma-foundry/5g-new-calling/ ), that can be invoked during a call and shown in the calling display. Today the Chinese market is at forefront of this new calling feature evolution, and the mini-apps ecosystem already available for chat super apps can be seeing as a successful inspiration.

Lan and Wifi excellence, cybersecurity, are our priority use cases already engaged, but all contexts of the life are subject to dedicated services: personal care, user presence detection, … Uses cases can be software embedded in the prpl compliant gateway and/or IOT devices connected to home LAN.
New Calling mini-apps services are expected to be monetize as premium voice service, initial targets could be professionals and enterprises that wants to deliver an enriched experience for their customers: business cards exchange, and call notes resume are already available by default.
